Today we're happy to share an exciting recap of our annual "A Taste of Hope" gala with you!
Our ninth annual dinner celebration was a great time and everyone enjoyed hearing from our special guests as we reflected on 32 years of our work!
Frank Tibagendeka, our Uganda Director, shared his miraculous story of how he overcame extreme poverty to get an education and eventually go on to become the current Governor of Mayuge State in Uganda.
We presented Frank with a commemorative plaque for his 16 years of service with Peace Gospel International and his pioneering work within our She Has Hope programs.
Jolie Helms, owner of Sapana Dreams shared with us about our new retail partnership. Our Nepal trade school students are making her "Hope Pouch" design which raises funds for the girls' program. Thank you, Jolie!
You can see and purchase the pouches online here!

We had over 50 items donated to our silent auction, and those combined with our live auction raised over $12,000 for our She Has Hope human trafficking response programs.
We had a record breaking number of table sponsorships and all told, by God’s grace, over $100,000 was raised in support of our She Has Hope programs in one night!
We’re so grateful for the incredible support from our good friend, Chef David Ramos, who served an out of this world 4-course Italian meal.
It was also a delight having our expert sommeliers with us, Rachel & Jeremiah Van Til, who served a curated selection of premium wines generously donated by Vinattieri 1385.
A big thanks to Daniel Chee Photography for donating the photography for the evening!
And a very big thanks to all of our sponsors— visit this link to see the list too long to include here, and please support all of them!
Thanks to your support of our annual gala, we’re able to continue funding programs that directly rescue, rehabilitate, and restore human trafficking survivors to a life full of hope, while also working vigilantly to prevent human trafficking from ever happening in the first place.
We could never do this without you. Thank you!
