We are thrilled to announce that our 6th Annual gala, "A Taste of Hope" will be back in person this year!
We will be gathering to celebrate the stories of hope you've helped make possible on Thursday, April 21 at 7 PM, with a special VIP hour beginning at 6 PM for our VIP ticket holders.
We are very thankful that Ecclesia Houston has offered us their main room at 1100 Elder St. as our venue.
This year we have some very special guests joining us in support of our "She Has Hope" human trafficking response programs.
We'll be hearing from Domenica Catelli, celebrity chef of Food Network fame, and author of "Mom-a-licious." She has positively influenced the way millions of families eat and prepare food across the United States with her tasty, easy, and healthy approach to cooking.
In 2010 Domenica teamed up with her brother Nicholas to re-open her family’s legacy restaurant, Catelli’s. The collaboration honors three generations of family recipes and cooking traditions resulting in multiple awards including “Best Italian Restaurant” in Sonoma County for the past 6 years.
You will also get to hear from our wine expert Lindsay Thomas, Wine Director of River Oaks Country Club, an Advanced Sommelier, and current candidate for Master Sommelier.
Lindsay will introduce the donated wines we'll be enjoying with our meal and will share some insights on what makes a wine special with a brief Wine Tasting 101 lesson.
Both of these amazing women will also share why She Has Hope is a cause close to their hearts. We feel so blessed to have them joining us.
For our dining experience, we will again be wowed by the culinary delights of Houston's own Chef David Ramos and his team, along with support from Chef Catelli. The meal will feature samples of cuisines from the regions where we work.
